We have a new computer with Windows 2000 installed, and 2
of us have Computer Administrator status. Can the other
one go into my account, get the password, and read all of
my e-mail/IM's? Before, someone installed a spayware
keylogger software on old computer, and read all e-mails
and IM's. Can that be prevented on Windows 2000?

If you keep that someone from installing spyware, you should be ok. If they
can get the spyware onto this new system, there is little that you can do to
protect yourself. Do not let that someone become an administrator of the
new system, and you should be ok.

If you load Mcafee it detects some of the key loggers and reports them
as viruses. This helps prevent the use of them

To prevent your computer from being monitored by a keylogger you
should use anti-keylogger or any anti-spy software. For this purpose I
use PrivacyKeyboard. By the way they have free download at their site.
I use this trial version as it is fully functional. You can try it.
Cheers.
