Hi Taspec :-)
I would like to have all new windows that I open stack on each other;
presently, when I want to keep a lot of the new windows open for a
period of time, I restack them manually to get rid of the offsets;
what a hassle.

Try the following and see if it helps.

To tile windows.-

You need to work on the small window only, open to that one and then close
all other windows>right click on your Task Bar, either on the open space on
the right or left end>select "Tile Windows Horizontally" and IE will
maximize; close IE. Re-open IE and it will be maximized.
If that fails post back.

Open Multiple Windows In IE

To keep more than one browser window open at a time, click File in the main
menu, select New, then Window. To close a browser window, click the X in the
top right-hand corner or select Close from the File menu. You can also open
a new browser window with Ctrl+N.

From IE> Tools> Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing> uncheck "Reuse windows
for launching shortcuts."

And... you have a program running which is blocking pop-up windows-
something like Yahoo Companion, Google toolbar, a firewall, Earthlink (or
another) pop-up blocker, etc.

You'll have to uninstall the program or turn off the feature that's blocking
new windows.

With some programs of this type, using Ctrl+click or Shift+click will allow
a new window.
