I have a project due in my Computer Applications Class. The instructor
suggest we search in the help menu; however, when I search gallery it comes
up with misc. items. I have no idea how to describe this feature. If Anyone
can help me or even tell me how to search this, I would really appreciate it.

In Office 2007 applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint -- a gallery is
an interface element containing thumbnail previews of a particular setting.
A Themes gallery previews themes, a Shape Styles gallery previews styles for
shapes, and so on.

You can then hover over any of the thumbnails in the gallery to see a live
preview on the selected object; and click on the thumbnail preview to apply
it to the selected object.

Do you have Office 2007? If so, Geetesh has explained Galleries nicely.

If you have an earlier version, it doesn't have galleries, so there won't be any
information about it in Help.
