Jim

When I do a search for a topic and receive the various
potential sites, click on one of them, the search window
reopens to that site. I therefore loose the search
options and have to start over. My browser use to open
the selected site in the main browser window and my
search window remained displayed with my search options.
Please advise what I can do to correct this problem.

I have had a couple of responses and they are not
correcting the problem.

Can someone please advise what setting, or other type
problem, I have in IE 6.

Did you try this?

Tools/Internet Options/Advance tab and select reuse windows when opening
shortcuts...

It still no joy would be nice to know what you have tried.

And do you have Yahoo Companion that may be the cause?

I have tried your suggestion and that of everyone else
but I still have the problem. My main window remains the
same when I select, or click, one of the links in the
search window. The search window itself goes to the
selected site and my main window remains where it
originally was.

Any more suggestions?

Jim
