Can anyone help me out with Connection Problem?

I would really appreciate if you could help me out with my current RD
problem.

I have 2 static IPs one assigned to my Desktop and another one to my Laptop.
While I am in office, I use static IP and whlie in home I use Wireless. Both
Subnet and Default Gateway are same for these 2 static IPs. I am able to
connect to the Desktop RD from my home through my Laptop. But I could not
connect when I use the another Static IP (which I use when I am in office).
I am not even able to Ping from each of these machines. My Remote Desktop is
accessible to everyone in my Team including me when I am in my Home. But I
don't know why I am unable to access this RD when I use another Static IP
which has same Subnet and Default Gateway. I don't know whether this is a
problem or something else I need to look into. Could you please help me out
in this? I direly need this working. I must be able to access RD from my
Laptop when I use another IP.

IPs are like
12.36.126.68
12.36.126.70

Subnet: 255.255.255.0 for both
Default Gateway: 12.36.126.9 for both.

There are only two. One Desktop and One Laptop.
I use Laptop at both Home and Office. Office PC doesn't have firewall I
guess. Because, I am able to establish RD to it from HOME using my Laptop.
To be more clear, I use SAME Laptop at both Office and Home. But in office I
use Static IP for the Laptop and in home I use WLAN.

I don't think I have a router. This assumsion is because as I mentioned
below, everyone else is able to access my Desktop. Except me. Its really
crazy. I posed this quesion in multiple forums. They are also clueless as of
what the problem is. If you could, please help me out!

You don't tell us anything about the configuration of this office network
and how you physically connect to it. Some of the possible causes of this
problem are:

1. Hardware - can you ping other IP addresses? Can they ping you? If not,
check ethernet cable, ports, etc.

2. These appear to be public addresses. However, if this is an internally
routed network, are you sure both machines are on the same physical segment?
Maybe you need to be on a different subnet.

3. Is there another machine/device using 12.36.126.70?

4. Firewalls - probably unlikely, but a firewall could be configured to
block 12.36.126.70.

Everyone (public) can ping that system except me. Its working perfectly for
everyone except me (while I use one of the 2 publc IPs)

Yes. these 2 are public IPs. I am sorry I am no voice. I don't know what
your next part of the question. But these IPs have same Subnet. That I know.
So, as per you is it not possible for mutual access between 2 public IPs
when they are in same subnet?

I understand that both machines are on the same logical subnet, but that
will not help you unless these machines are physically connected on the same
segment. Please describe your office connections - are you using a router?
switch? How are the computrers connected? Can the laptop connect to the
Internet when it's in the office? Are there other office machines? Can it
connect to them?

are you using a router?
ANS: Those 2 IPs are provided by ISP. So. no Router.

How are the computrers connected?
ANS: Not connected. Trying to connect over internet.

Can the laptop connect to the Internet when it's in the office?
ANS: Yes. As I metioned to you (in 1st answer as well), its 100 MBPS
connection Public Static IP provided by ISP.
Everyone is able Rd and ping my lapop and Desktop. But these 2 are unable to
communicate each other over internet like everyone else.

Are there other office machines? Can it connect to them?
No. No network either.

Please let me know if you would like any further details.
