Can anyone help a VBA wanna-be?

I have learned much from this forum and the one about queries. I miss more
than I learn though because many of the responses I see require at least a
little knowledge about VB, and I have none! I try to find other people who
are seeking the same info I need so as not to repeat questions already asked,
but again, the responses they get are mostly about programming.

Can someone direct me to a tutorial, (free and very easy please :-), so that
I can learn how to write some procedures and/or expressions? I am an
experienced Access user and am very good at using the built in tools
provided. But they do not go far enough. SQL assistance would be welcome
too.

Any help will be much appreciated.

There's a lot of Access information on the internet, but there are a couple
of books I'd recommend to get you started on the right foot. Try Practical
Standards for MS Visual Basic, by James D Foxall. And to get you started
with SQL, try Sams Teach Yourself SQL in 10 Minutes. It's an excellent
primer for SQL and you'll be able to use a lot of the material in Access.

Good luck,

Ken
