Can an "inline" hyperlink be created in a cell?

Similar to what can be done in Word and PowerPoint, is it possible to have a
hyperlink embedded in a sentence such as, "Please click here to go to the
sheet." where the word "here" is the hyperlink and the rest of the sentence
is plain text?

I have tried using the HYPERLINK function. Unfortunately, the entire
sentence becomes the hyperlink rather than just the word "here".

Thanks in advance for any help.

You could cheat and add a rectangle over the word/phrase you want. Then hide
its borders and assign the hyperlink to that rectangle.

You could even format those characters (if the value in that cell is not a
formula) nicely.

But it can be a pain if you re-edit the text and change the position of the
characters.
