Can Altec Lansing XA3021 be used as PC speakers?

Altec Lansing XA3021 is great according all the reviews at
http://www1.shopping.com/xPR-Altec_Lansing_XA3021 . At Altec Lansing
site, it's listed for Video and gaming. I wonder if it works as PC
speakers? I'll be doing games and music and movies on my P4 PC. Some
pointed out the subwoofer isn't shielded, I don't know what it means
by that.

Those will be fine with your PC. Don't place the subwoofer right next to a
CRT monitor.
