If Win2k server AD change IP address after,

what affect to the client machine ? win2k clients ~

What procedure have to do ?

Yes, you can. You'll want to restart the server afterwards to make sure DNS
gets updated. If you have clients pointing to this DC for DNS or any other
service explictly by IP, you need to update those references.

If your clients point to caching DNS servers rather than the AD ones, you'll
want to blast the cache after you do the udpate and bounce the DC.

Can tell me how to blast the cache in win2k clients ?
I change win2kServerAD IP from 192.168.1.10 to
192.168.1.20
server DNS has changed automatically,
but win2k client also ping server point to 10,
not 20.

so it can't login the AD as well ~ how to do ? thx
