I am trying to create a cookbook for a charity. I thought that Access 2007
would be the best program, but I think that I will need to print the book
from Word 2007. Can Access 2007 dump into Word 2007.

Is it too much to ask you to elaborate?

:

Right-click on the table containing the data.

Select Export>Merge it with Microsoft Word

You will then go into a wizard that will walk you through the rest of the
process.

Thanks, Mark. But, I was wondering if the information can be dumped into Word
already formatted, like from a Form or Report???

1. Create a report with your data.

2. Preview the report

3. In Access XP/2003 look for 'office links' and 'send to Word'

4. The main thing to be aware is that Access converts the report to a .rtf
file - which is then imported into word. I find that formatting in the
conversion seems to be done by creating tab settings for every line which is
exported. So if you have to change any tab settings or font assignments, you
may have to sdelect the entire document and apply them.

I've been part of a cookbook project and was thing about using XML
technologies to export the data and lay it out in word. but that requires a
bit of technical knowledge to properly exploit that.
