My daughter has asked whether a PowerPoint (the one you get with Office2000)
presentation can be viewed on the Macs that her school uses. Can anyone out
there help me with an answer? If so and it takes some action to make it
viewable could you please tell us how?

Thanks,
Steve

The easy answer is 'yes'. But there are some things to consider:
- Fonts might be different on the two systems
- Animations, not all animations translate back and forth. Although you are
using PPT 2000, so this will not be as impactful as using PPT XP/2003
animations.

Troy's answer is correct, assuming that the Macs have PowerPoint installed.

If there's no PowerPoint or other program that can open and display PPT files,
then it won't work on the Macs.
