Hello there! I am a mac user, but I need to know if it is
possible, using Windows NT, to save a powerpoint file into
PS format. Any advice/suggestions/etc. would be MUCH
appreciated on this. thanks!

PS as in postscript?

What's your ultimate goal here? We can probably help you better if we
know what you're trying to accomplish.

If PS = PostScript, then sure. Easily.

Install a PostScript printer driver, choose it in the File, Print dialog
box, put a checkmark next to "Print to File", set your print options and
print. Windows will ask you for a file name, type one in, Windows will name
it .PRN instead of .PS, change it later if you like, or put the whole
filename, like

"MY Filename -- Leave it ALONE Blast Your Eyes Bill Gates.PS"

And there you go.

Whether it will work for your purposes depends on whether you choose the
appropriate driver in the first place.
Of course, if you meant EPS and not PS, all bets are off.
