Hello There Knowledgeoble People,
My question is the following:- Suppose you put a DVD in the PC of 15
minutes length. What you are interested in is to download only the
sound of it. You are not inrerested in the picture of it. Is it
possible?
In summum,
Can a PC download the sound of a DVD?

Yes. If it'll play on the computer, Audacity has an audio editor that can
record anything that goes to your speakers and save it to a .wav file. With
a plug-in, it can also do mpg. It's called what-u-hear. Look for Audacity on
Google. I think it's http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ .

What you export it to after ripping is up to you, but it's generally the
best idea to take the highest-quality sample you can. MP3's offer a
significant reduction in sound quality.
