Can a PC be turned on remotely via LAN?

What I need to be able to do is 3 things:

1. Start a PC remotely over the internet
2. Have a Powerpoint Display PPS run as soon as the PC comes up
3. Schedule start/stop times for the PC - ie on at 8am, off at 11pm, with
different times for each day of the week

Wake-On-LAN (WOL) would solve requirement 1...
