Although it's not completely clear what you're getting at
in this post (and your similar post about Outlook
Express), I'll take a shot at a response:
If you just want to prevent IE from accessing the internet
after it has opened, choose 'File | Work Offline' on
either IE or OE. This will prevent both applications from
having internet access. If you choose that option before
closing IE or OE, the next time you open either, the 'Work
Offline' option will still be in effect.
OR
The software-firewall ZoneAlarm has features for
preventing internet access (by any application) with just
a couple clicks.
BUT
If you really want to password protect IE and OE, neither
application offers that functionality.
If I've missed the point of your post, please provide
clarification in the same thread and I'll try again.
