Can a 2007 PowerPoint Slideshow be imported to a video format?

I have created a PowerPoint Slideshow in PoerPoint 2007. When viewed in
earlier versions, many of the features and formats are removed. Is there a
way to save the presentation as a video or avi file so it can be burned to a
cd for viewing on any computer without PowerPoint - or with an earlier
version of Powerpoint without losing the features and formats?

In my opinion, converting PowerPoint to Flash files is better than videos.
Because Flash is widely supported and can retain all originals without any
version or codec incompatibility.
