Hi. I have a problem with my camera connection. Everytime I plug my camera into my computer, the computer only gives me the option to "safely remove harware". I have never had this problem before, I used to be able to plug in the camera and a wizard program would open and copy the pics to the computer. I make sure that the camera is turned on and that the batteries are good, so I know that isn't the problem
If anyone has any advice, please send it to (e-mail address removed). Thank you very much.

Your camera should appear as a removable drive when
connected to your PC. Look in 'Start->Programs-
Accessories->System Tools->System Information' and
select 'drives' to make sure it appears.

If so, it's probably a Windows problem when allocating
removable drive names. Physical drives such as your
hardisk C:, floppy A: and CD D: get priority. When
connecting you camera in this example, a drive allocation
of E: would be given. However, if you already have
another non-physical drive labelled E: - such as a mapped
network drive - then it will still show as a mapped
network drive even though it now applies to your camera.
In this case you can re-map the network drive to F: (or
any other letter) and restart your computer. Your camera
will now show as F: and you can access your photos.
