Camera Connection Problem after XP Re- Install

A few weeks back, I had to re-install Windows XP Professional. After getting
everything back in order, my computer operates exactly the same except my
digital camera (Cannon Power Shot SD 400) no longer works with my computer.
When I connect to my computer it makes the sounds indicating that it is
connected. When I go to the device manager and click properties, it says the
driver is not installed. After asking it to install it, it makes an attempt,
but I get an error, Cyclical Redundancy Check. What does this mean? How can I
fix it?

I don't know if the following link will
help you but it may be worth a look:

Also, purchasing a USB card reader
might be a good alternative.

Are you sure everything is "back in order"? Try sorting everything again
just to be sure it's all back in order.
