"camera busy try again later" message

I am getting this message some miuntes after right clicking on 'get pictures'
on the context menu. The camera is a Fujifilm.

My hunch is that the camera is in fact operating correctly (the light on the
camera flashes as if it is interacting with the PC) but appears to be busy to
the 'get pictures' application because the time duration in which all picture
details are retrieved exceeds a limit programmed in the software. As a
consequence, the 'get pictures' application assumes the device is not
properly available and so issues the message.

If this theory is true, the software times out because my 4GB card is full
of photos and thus it will take significant time to transfer all picture
details. Can somebody confirm either that this is the likely cause of the
problem in which case advise if there is a way round the time limit, or
alternatively diagnose my problem please? TIA .... Greg

Just wondering...are your camera batteries fully
charged?

IMHO....best bet would be to download via a USB
memory card reader.
