Found a cool software.
I finally found a shell integrated picture viewer besides ACDSee that
behaves as I like.
Cam2pc is great for Explorer users that like to launch their pictures
directly instead of using another unnecessary browser and thumbnail
explorer. (although it has its own browser) Just click on the picture file,
hit the space bar to toggle through the entire folder of pics. Hit ESC one
time, and it's closed. Yea! You can create a nice full screen view,
shrinking large pictures, yet not stretching smaller pictures.
It also does lossless JPEG rotation, shows EXIF data, a slide show,
transfers pics from your camera, and more.
My only wish is ability to crop and save the crop to a new file.
Down side...it's a tad bloated. OK, at 9mb, it's a lot bloated. The
interface is gorgeous, so I'm going to say it's worth it.
I know IrfanView does most of this, but I have always found IrfanView rough
and awkward. This is no slam against Irfan. It's just my personal taste.
But still, 9 mb... :-(
