Calorie Counter

Hi......Im kind of new to excel but very good with computers. I want to make
a calorie counter that has the particular foods i eat already in a database
ready to be copied over to another page.

Just a quick example....if i enter salmon it will lookup data from the table
and automaically copy the data from the database an place it on a days food
table ready to be calculated...

I need a few guides or some idea of where to start if anyone has any
ideas!!!!!!!!!

Hello Chris,

I suggest to look at www.wolframalpha.com:

Enter, for example:
one slice of bread and 100g salmon

And you will get more information than you can probably arrange for
with Excel.
