Callwaiting

Can anybody explain what callwaiting can do? I am on the
Internet and do not plan on purchasing another phone
line. Do you have a limited time before you are
disconnected from the Internet? I'm looking at US
Robotics modems, but any idea or reccommendations would
be great.

Hi Sam,

For years modem users have been disabling Call waiting
before going online by prefixing *70 to their ISP number.

Recently companies such as USR have introduced an
alternative method: Internet Call Notification (ICN) which
allows you to take incoming calls while you are online without
dropping your Internet connection! For more information see:
