calling vba scripts

Hi.

Do I need to call my code somehow from my spreadsheet?

I have code that looks like this:

Sub FixColC()
(code)
End Sub

how do i get this code piece to activate?

or does it just run all the time..... ?
help me... please...

Assuming you have the code in a module, press Alt + F8 to open the macro
dialogue box and either double click FixCol
or select it and click the run button
