Has anyone heard of the "Silver Trout Anglers Society" please?

My Great Grand Father was a member circa 1882 and he came from the St Giles & St Pancras area of, London, Middlesex, United Kingdom.

I have not been able to find any reference to this society anywhere so any help would be appreciated.

Haven't heard of that Society, no, sorry.

But The St Giles and St Pancras area is, as far as I know, not in Middlesex but in Central London. That's the area where a lot of the mainline rail stations are.

I once knew of the Thames Trout Society, but I was only 12 at the time ;)

I must confess that occurred to ne after posting.

I was just thinking that if you pursued Middlesex rather than St Giles and St Pancras, your search may not be so fruitful.

Just a thought.

Good luck with the search.
