I am having a problem callibrating my monitor for photos.
I know it can be done but Dell support is not
understanding, they keep saying it's a problem with my
printer. There is instructions on Adobe photo about
callibrating, but it is different from my Dell. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

You can find all the info on monitor calibration here:
http://www.drycreekphoto.com/
To find the profile your monitor is using, right click on the desktop,
properties, settings, advanced, color management. Your monitor color profile
should be listed there. If you click on the Add button a list of installed
color profiles on your computer (from photo editing software and printers)
will open. You can add any and select as default and see what you get (you
can always return to your original) but I don't think this will help until
you read the above document and understand how this works. Selecting a
different color profile is quite different than calibrating your monitor for
color management.
