Is it me or this SP2 firewall a pain in the rear? I can't play COD
multiplayer with firewall off, can't play it if I open ports, swearing at it
didn't help either!!! I'm about 5 minutes away from starting a clean install
and ignoring SP2. Any hints, tips, or new swear words I might not have tried
yet?

Hi BBBricar,

Microsoft Published some articles to resolve SP2 gaming issues:
1. http://support.microsoft.com//kb/875363
and 2. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/842242

For the 2nd part of your question, google George Carlin's 7 words. ;-)

Aaaaaaaah, if only it was that simple. It refuses to work. I tried all that,
it's in the exceptions, etc etc and so forth. I don't get it at all. It won't
work even with the firewall turned off! It was fine before SP2. I disabled
firewall in router, tried direct connection, everything I can think of. It
sucks. Opened ports and all that too. Zero, zilch, zip, bugger all.

Hi BBB,

Perhaps your TCP/IP needs to be refreshed. Open a Command Prompt,
and type in this command: netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
