Trying to get this game to run and I get an Open GL subsystem error. Using a
9600pro on a P4 2 gig, 512 RDRAM, Win XP Pro.
Any ideas?

Lol. Could be anything, more than likely a driver issue. Have you contacted
the makers of the demo? Maybe it might be worth looking into it from that
angle, could be something they know about, or perhaps not and they help you
out.......

I too had a problem when I first installed the demo. I couldn't set the
textures to 32-bit or whatever that option is. It run for 3 or 4 seconds,
teh screen would corrupt, I'd get some sort of error message (not sure
exactly what it said), then I would drop back to the desktop.
Unfortunately, the desktop was so bright I had to reboot to fix it. Nothing
else worked.

I had recently reinstalled WinXP because of a boneheaded thing I did. This
reinstall occured before installing the demo. For some reason, when I
reinstalled the OS, it ran a bit sluggish for some reason. Windows would
take a while to pop open and such. I own an AMD VIA system. I uninstalled
the VIA drivers and installed them again. Then, 3.7 Cat's came out. I
updated the system to them. Not sure which fixed the problem, but all
things seem to be fine now with the demo.

Moral of the story: you sure you got all the latest drivers and such
installed?

Good luck!

Agree that it "could " be a driver problem but I am running CAT 3.7.

Doesn't mean a thing, there are hundreds of drivers on your system, could be
anything conflicting......

I had problems running MOHAA with cat 3.7, and went back to 3.6. Maybe try that.

I'm thinking; this is the only game so far that doesn't work with my 9600Pro
and I am using Cat 3.7. Doesn't seem worthwhile rolling back the drivers for
a demo. I have also heard that others, perhaps not specifically with the
9600, are having problems with it as well.
