I have a strange issue where a user when he opens his
calendar he is missing a few calendared items that were
created by his delegate. If I open his calendar from the
Delegates computer the calendared items are on the
calendar. Additionally, if I go to anyone else's
computer (with calendar REVIEWER permissions) and open
his calendar they see the items on the calendar that the
delegate has set.

I've tried adding him to another computer and then
setting up Outlook to talk to the Exchange Server and he
still can not see the calendared items.

I've also tried removing his Outlook Settings from his
desktop and then re-adding them and I still get the same
problem - can't view calendar items.

The weird thing is if I the Domain Admin open his
Calendar I get the same results he does.

Any ideas how to fix it so that he (and I) see the
correct Calendar items?

Thanks
Jody

Be sure to turn off the Calendar Cache option in
the calendar for anyone working with delegates. This
needs to be done for both the Main guy and his
delegate.

TOOLS | OPTIONS | PREFERENCES tab
CALENDAR OPTIONS...
Turn off the check mark for ALWAYS USE LOCAL CAL

Nikki,
I don't have the option to check or uncheck ALWASY USE
LOCAL CAL. It doesn't even show up. I'm using OUTLOOK
2002. Could it be somewhere else?

Thanks
Jody

Nikki,
Could it be Offline Folder Settings?

When I go in to Microsoft Exchange Server | Change | More
Settings | Advanced Tab

The Offline Folder Settings tab is grayed out. There is
a path to an OST file.

How do I change it so I can get the tab not grayed out so
I can deselect use Offline Folder Settings?

Thanks
Jody

Jody, some companies use the NoOST setting in the
registry for controlling Offline folder and calendar
caching. Perhaps this has been set on that machine.
This may cause the key to "gray out".
