Calendar will not display

After upgrading to windows XP and running IE 6.0 when I
view a site with a calendar the calendar does not
appear. This prevents me for searching by a date eg
holidays. Any ideas how to fix.

It's probably a Java applet and WinXP and IE6 do not come with Java. See:

Understand that because of a court decision Microsoft is stopping all Java
support, including security updates, in January.
