Please tell me how, in the Week View, I can show the day of the week
(Monday, Tuesday...) in front of the date (26 April, 27 April...) at the
head of each day

2
How do I apply different background colours to Appointments - at present
timed appointments have no background and untimed events have grey
backgrounds

Many thanks

Francis

1) Go to Control Panel | Regional and Language Options and change the Long
Date format to include the day of the week. You will need to add the "dddd"
string for this if you want the day of the week fully spelled out. For
example, my Long Date format for the U.S. looks like this:

dddd, MMMM dd, yyyy

and results in this:

Saturday, April 24, 2004

2) In Outlook 2002 and 2003, you can use the Labels feature for this.
Earlier versions of Outlook did not provide a method for coloring Calendar
items in the Day/Week/Month view.
