calendar view is at midnight, although start time is 8am

My calendar settings are start time 8am, end time 5pm. Time increments for
calendar are set to 30 minutes. Yet, when the Outlook calendar is opened,
the scrollbar is always set to the very top at midnight.

Other users in the same office have the exact same settings in Outlook, and
their views function correctly with start time at 8am.

Any ideas?
 
Time scale is 30. The window is big, but that doesn't seem to matter for
other users with same screen & resolution size. I'm stumped!

Did you test it using a non-maximized window? Or a 15 min scale?

The calendar starts at the start of the workday then shows the hours
between the end of the work day and the end of the day (midnight) as window
size permits. If the window is large, it goes backwards from the start of
the day.
