I've always wondered why I couldn't set the start of the week to Sunday in
Windows. I thought it was a US-centric view. However, tonight I did a
search of the 'Net and found that the US does have Sunday as the first day of
the week - the same as Australia. So I have to ask why Windows under the
regional settings, sets Australia to start the week on a Monday? It's a pain
in the proverbial! It's been a Sunday start of the week ever since I started
work 45 years ago (important to shiftworkers).
If I set my PC or PDA to English (US) the calendar is correct but I lose the
other defaults I want. If I revert to English (Australiani) I'm forced into
using the incorrect Monday first day of week.
Did MS get it wrong and no one has ever noticed before?
So I want English (Australia) and a calendar week that starts on Sunday.
How can I do it?
