We have one user's calendar that shows out of office for a
full year so at this point nobody can schedule a meeting.
I can not find any appointment that was made to block out
the time involved. It does not show in the user's
calendar, but does show when other users are trying to
schedule time. When I click on the "meeting" from my
calendar, it states that the details for this appointment
are not available. We are using Exchange 5.5 with Outlook
2000 client. Any suggestions

Try opening Outlook using the ".../CleanFreeBusy" switch. The
link(s) below (depending upon your Outlook version) will give
you the instructions on how to use it.

OL2002: Additional Command-Line Switches

OL2000: Additional Command-Line Switches

OL98: Additional Command-Line Switches

/CleanFreeBusy Cleans and regenerates free/busy information.

I would also use the ".../CleanFreeBusy" for good measure:
/CleanReminders Cleans and regenerates reminders.
