Calendar schedule no longer will open.

I can no longer open new appts or previously set appts. When I
double-click, it does not open the schedule window. It does not open from
any of the optional ways to do so.

Did I turn on a security feature and dont know it?
 
The first thing I would try is the "Detect and Repair" option.

Open Outlook
Select the HELP menu
Select the "Detect and Repair"
