Hi Shawn,

I have tried your method but it's not working and I am getting error message.

The Windows Calendar's Reminder is a very fantastic features and any body
can utilize this amazing features inbuilt in Windows Vista.

MS Vista Support must have to fix this problem. Hope to get support for this
particular features from Vista Support team or some from all the group who
has successfuly used this reminder services from the Windows Calendar.

Its not a fix needed Raj because Calendar has it if you go the the File
menu and select Options. Under Calendar you find a tick box about it.

Calendar reminders are set via a scheduled task in Task Scheduler, so look
at the properties of the task in Task Scheduler if there's a problem with
it. The history tab will show if there's been any errors.

All I can find under calendar in windows vista is new task. have no idea how
to proceed from there. can you help?

Thanks so much for being curious! Really made more sense when you described
it in full. The reason most of us are here is that we need detailed answers.
If we understood our problem, we wouldn't need this venue! thanks again,
Grams

It sounds like your Task Scheduler service has been disabled
Click Start
and type
Services
and press enter,
When it opens,
Look for Task Scheduler and see if it is set to start automatically
and has started.
