Calendar Reminder Issue

I continiously receive a reminder for a meeting that took place 36 weeks ago.
When I try to open the reminder I receive "cannot open the item for this
reminder-unknown error". Help!!!
 
I am having the same problem, but have not yet found a solution. The
suggested fix did not resolve the problem.
 
What was the suggested fix?

Close Outlook - find and rename frmcache.dat to old. The path is:

C:\Documents and Settings\Manny.MAS\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\FORMS\FRMCACHE.DAT (I renamed this to FRMCACHE.OLD and that
did the trick).
