I'm asking this here as there does not appear to be a group for the Windows
Calendar. I apologise for the OT.

In the week view there is a space at the top of each day column for "all
day" events. I have a number of those and the daily total often exceeds two,
which is all that there is space to show. There are arrows at the right hand
side to scroll the all day events when there are more than two, but unless
one does that it is very easy to miss the ones not showing. I have looked
everywhere and cannot find a way to increase the height (depth?) of the "all
day" event region. This will be a show stopper for me if there is no way to
do this. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Many thanks.

how about instead of clicking the ALL DAY, you enter start/stop hours.
does not FIX the "problem" but might provide a work around.

Thank you for the thought. I HAD considered that, but you should see what happens when you do that with multi day events like school holidays! Anyway, as you suggest, it IS a work around, and I will look at using it. I did look at Sunbird which has some good points, but is still a little sluggish changing date and view, and has thrown up the occasional glitch. No criticism of it intended though. I used to use Outlook, but my latest version (2000) is getting too old, and the latest is just too expensive.

LOL, I have just upgraded my mobile phone, and I have a funny feeling the scheduler on it will only work with Outlook, so I may end up having to fork out for Office anyway. <sigh> Anyway, thank you again for your help.

someone in another news group mentioned that it is possible to buy just Outlook without the office garbage.

Yes, I can get naked Outlook from Dick Smith Electronics in NZ, but it's still NZ$146.00, which I guess isn't all THAT bad considering its capabilities. If I end up having to get it, that's the way I will probably go. Thanks.
