Calendar permissions

I have a manager that would like to view/edit an employees calendar, but does
not want to receive meeting requests on their behalf. Is this possible.
Everytime I give the manager any editing permissions he will get an email for
meeting requests. Thanks in advance for your help.
 
I tried those permission options but when I give the manager permission to
edit the calendar he still gets emails for appointments made to his employee.
 
But first did you remove the delegate access?
