Calendar - no times on printed appointments

I am now declaring Microsoft calendar useless for my requirements. I can't
believe anyone would put out a calendar application that doesn't print
appointment times on printed month copies.

Please print (or provide an option to print) appointment times on monthly
view calendars, and word wrap appointments onto multiple lines.

I doubt that MS will make many improvements to Windows Calendar, considering
that they sell Outlook.

As the previous poster points out, I think the limitations of calendar
are carefully designed to frustrate users towards Outlook. I struggled
with the inadequacies of Windows Mail and Calendar for about a week and
then gave up on them. FWIW I am using Thunderbird and Sunbird, which are
both open source and are everything the Windows apps ought to have been.
If I could uninstall Calendar and Win Mail I would, but I guess they are
hard wired into the OS to keep frustrating a new generation of users
into MS Office. Sigh.

I agree! They really took a GIANT step backwards, as far as I'm concerned.
They must have had a beginner programmer make up this one. I can do better
by using a pen on my own calendar. I truly thought I had something fantastic
here that would take all my busy life and tie it all up into one. I have a
big family, so birthdays are always coming up, my husband has a weird
schedule, so I need to know when he will be home or not to make appts for
him, and I have lots of dr's appts I have to go to and take my grandson to,
so you can see why a calendar like this one WOULD have been GREAT! Now, I
never know if anything is over lapping or not.

MS wants you to buy Outlook. Its calendar has many features that you may
want, but probably won't get in Windows Calendar.

Or take a look at the free Thunderbird email program, and the Lightning
calendar add-on. It prints appointment times on the month view.
