Calendar - moving items

I'm using Outlook 2007 and once in a great while I accidentally move a
Calendar item to another day, a day I did not intend to.

Is there a way to have a prompt - 'Are you sure you want to move this?' ...
or something like that?

Thanks, Dave Horne

You really should ask calendaring questions in
microsoft.public.outlook.calendaring. I've set the followup.

Diane, that's pretty much the conclusion I came to. I could find no 'in
cell editing' option.

Is this something that could be implemented in the future for Calendar?

Thanks, as always, for your response.

No, you can't. If it's a recurring event you'll be asked something about
exceptions, but nothing for normal appointments.

It's hard to say if it could be implemented - AFAIK, it won't be in the next
version, but it also depends on 1) how many people (usually corp employees)
have a problem with it and 2) if they can do it without introducing bugs.
