Everytime I create a calendar Item it will be there for
about 15 seconds and then th item disappears. I do a
search for a word I put in the subject but it's not
found. I've turned off archiving, checked the views, etc.
but no help. This happens when using Outlook 2003 client
or OWA.

Current setup:
Exchange 2003 (SBS2003)
Outlook 2003 (running on same machine as server) using
cached mode.
All patched and updates are installed.

Are you seeing any errors/warnings in the application log?
Is this a fresh install? If you have been up and running for some time, when
did this problem start?

Regards

Great question! Yes the Application Log is showing errors
related:

Source: EXCDO
Event ID: 8206
Calendaring agent failed with error code 0x80040215 while
saving appointment.

Event ID: 8213
Calendaring agent failed to update the free/busy cache
during an appointment save or delete operation.

Event ID: 8199
Calendaring agent failed in message save notification with
error 0x800703eb on Chad@
(domainname).biz: /Calendar/Testing 545.EML.

Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 299046 talks about my
problem but I'm not running virus protection (cringe!:s).
This is not a fresh install (running since December)
problem started at end of January. I do use an iPaq and
synchronize locally on the server via usb.

Thx,
chad

anyone have any new ideas?
