I had to re-install everything and now have two calendars, how do I combine
them so I can delete or close one of them?

Display in a table view (categories for example) and select all, right
click and drag to the preferrred calendar FOLDER.

HUH? Both calendars show as personal folders. One is called Calendar by
Outlook, the other was also named by Outlook as Calendar1.

Now in layman langauge let's try again, how would I move everything from the
Calendar1 to the main Calendar so I can delete Calendar1 ?

None of this open in table view, what exactly is TABLE view if you can only
explain it that way.

Would be so much easier if you accepted Email DOEVENTHINKOFEMAILINGME.

Perhaps others might also be willing to explain how to do this. Would not
have this problem if .PST stopped duplicating when copying or importing but
that is not how MS Outlook works, if to easy no fun is how they see things.

Geez - in layman terms.

Display your calendar in table view (view->by category - as I ALREADY told
you) select all, right click and drag to the preferred calendar folder.
Select copy or move as is your preference.

However, it appears you have a corrupt profile, which is probably caused by
incorrectly migrating your Outlook date (specifically, copying and
overwriting/importing.) Create new mail profile. For really easy steps,
use F1 help.

As for emailing me, I do this on a volunteer basis and don't need pleas for
help polluting my private email, used for my business, not news group
business.

OK Mz techie, Outlook sets Calendar as TABLE view, right? there is NO SLECT
ALL, sure I can right click the Calendar I want to get ride of once I figure
out how to move everything in it to the default one but that is not going to
happen your way since your way does not work.

CORRUPT PROFILE, sure glad you're able to get inside my computer and figure
out what is wrong with it.

What is wrong is it is a NEW HP computer that has been a total pita since it
came out of the box. I have used Outlook for years and never had this
problem.

I have asked for help here before and always got correct answers but sorry
to say I do believe your not sure of what I am trying to do since your
answers do not seem to work.

If you do not like the fact I have the right to sound off fine with me but
please go back to MS School and learn what it is I am trying to do.

I can just take the time to put in the default Calendar all my appointments
and other information and then delete the CORRUPT one.

So much for your help.

Thanks, not sure what for but thanks.

If MS or anyone wants to delete this because I speak my mind fine with me.
But freedom of speech cannot be legallized to slience.

Outlook sets Calendar as TABLE view, right?

Nope. The default view on a calendar folder is Day/Week/Month. That is a day/week/month view, not a table view. A table view shows items in rows and columns, as your Sent Items folder does. An example of a table view for calendar folders is the standard By Category view.
there is NO SLECT ALL

After you apply the By Category or another table view from the View menu, you should see the Select All command on the Edit menu and then be able to drag the selected items from one folder to the other to move them.

CTRL-A selects everything.

The mail profile can be fragile sometimes and creating a new one can often
fix a stubborn problem.

New, old, it doesn't matter.

Milly's one of the most accurate posters here.

So, teach us. We can't see you, so you have to give a complete, exact
description.

Mail folders don't work that way. They're not Windows objects. All your
folders are in the same file. You can;t create another calendar and
substitute it for the old one. You have to create an entirely new folder
set and start using them instead of all your original folders. You can pull
your old data into the new folders and then get rid of the old folders if
there is really a problem with them.
