calendar folder

A friend of mine setup an Outlook rule to redirect certain e-mails to a
folder. The only problem was that the folder is a calendar type and the
messages are now gone. I checked the file size and it says it's 2900k but I
can't find any of the messages to retrieve.

I created a new e-mail folder for her and all new messages are being
redirected into it but she would like to retrieve the messages in the
calendar folder if possible.

Any ideas?
 
try View-Current view-By category if anything is still there it should show
as a list of items.
