A user responding to a calendar item gets an email from
system administrator stating the email recipient (the
response was addressed to) does not exist. Problem is that
the recipient, identified in the sys admin message, is
neither part of the calendar item, is not a valid
user/email acct. and was not addressed in the first place.
The recipient identified is however a user that was
deleted from the domain months ago with no visible
remnants left behind.

A delegate perhaps that someone did not remove?

the domain user accounts no longer exist. ONce the user is
removed, don't that user also cease to exist in all
aspects of domain services to include Exchange? I've
looked for personal contacts and found nothing...I'm
stumpted.
