Calendar doesnt highlight events more than 10 Months in the Future

Does anyone know why Outlook (2002 SP3 at least) wont bold the date when
there is something on a day, if that date is more than 10 months in the
future?

It seems to show me a 12 month window, the month previous and the next 10.
Outside of these ranges the small calendar dates which are normally bold for
en event go back to normal formatting.

The things that are on those dates are not deleted it just wont
differentiate between a day with something on it and one with nothing.

Has anyone else found this and is there a way to extend the window to all
the dates in the calendar?
 
what do you have for your default publish free/busy setting?

The default 2months and 15 minutes.
There is no server involved. Its just my own personal computer.

Today (16th Nov) I can see bold days for events:
1 Oct 2004 but not 30 Sept 2004 or earlier.

30th Sept 2005 but not 1st Oct 2005 or later.
