Calendar displays japanese fonts

Outlook 2002, Calendar displays japanese (numerals)fonts
for the day right next to the english date. have checked
all font settings on outlook and regional settings on the
comp, and have not seen any probelms. How can i take the
japanese fonts of the calendar date. OS is Win XP.
 
Have you checked Tools->Options->Calendar to see if you enabled an alternate
calendar?
