How about some help in getting Calendar Creator 12 to play nicely with Win XP
Home Edition - SP2.
After successfully installing Calendar Creator 12, using the custom
installation procedures to install all libraries and features on my
harddrive, I attempted to open the application. Calendar Creator 12 opened –
however, I received the following Microsoft error message. (See Below)
After uninstalling the application, using instructions included with
Calendar Creator 12, I reinstalled the application using the express
installation procedures. When I attempted to open Calendar Creator 12, I
again received the following Microsoft error message.
After again uninstalling the application, I reinstalled Calendar Creator 12
using instructions included with Broderbund Calendar Creator 12 Technical
Note ID: 42770 for Windows XP, I reinstalled the application using the custom
installation procedures to install all libraries and features on my
harddrive. When I attempted to open Calendar Creator 12, I again received
the following Microsoft error message.
I appears that no matter what avenue I take, Calendar Creator 12 will not
open and run on my computer. I am not running anything exotic. I have
Windows XP Home addition -SP2 with all updates. And yes, I do have full
administrative privileges.

When I clicked on the link, as indicated above, a window opened up with
technical information too lengthy to include here – and unfortunately the
window does not allow copy/paste. However, the window stated that a text
file would be included with the error report being sent to Microsoft.
When I sent the error report to Microsoft, per their request, Calendar
Creator 12 closed. Each time I attempted to open the application I would
receive the same Microsoft error message which, when closed, would also end
up closing Calendar Creator 12. It is a “death loop†with no way to open and
use Calendar Creator 12.
