Calendar Control Today's Date

I am using the Form_Open event to try and set today's date to a Calendar
Control (calDate).

calDate.value = Date

This is the method from Microsoft's website.

It will not work. Any suggestions as to why this is not working.

Do you get any error messages? Form_Open may be too soon, try Form_Load
instead.

Move the code to the form Load event; the Open event is too soon.
You could also use this code, but it still should be in the Load event:

calDate.Today
