calendar control problem

Before attempting to add a calendar control to a form (in Access 2003), I
checked the MS help which specified Calendar Control 11.0. My tool box
contained Calendar Control 9.0, only, however. I added 9.0 to my form, but
subseqently deleted it, somehow causing all of the other field and control
objects on the form to become invisible! I can see them in design mode, of
course, but not otherwise, and I can detect no change in the form's or the
controls' properties that would cause such a thing. Also, how do I add
Calendar Control 11.0 to my extended tools?

The MS calendar control is prone to breaking with versioning problems, and
when it does it prevents the app from working (typical of missing
references.)

The best solution is to avoid it. Either use a simple popup Access form that
needs no reference, like this one:
