Buck's answer is the general one that we recommend to clear the situation but we are still wondering what it is that triggers the inability to add or modify appointments.
That is why we ask the additional questions about error messages, what changed in the environment just before it started happening, etc. Any hints as to common factors always helps. Of course, it could just be a simply resource problem in which case the reboot will fix it.
At any rate, glad you got it working again. If it happens again, would you carefully note the variables that could affect this problem and report back here? Thanks!

After furious head scratching, Don asked:
| Milly,
|
| Buck's idea worked! To answer your question, I could click or use the
| command to add a appointment and nothing would happen. Also when I
| tried to open an existing appointment, it would not open.
|
| Thank you for responding and helping!
